The aches of live

My heart seems to ache with pain of breaking up, but I know that if I push forward and look to the next day I could get through it. Walking tall as I should and not with my head hung down in depression. But why tell me does breaking up hurt so bad, I love him but I know I can't keep him. I want to but at the same time I want to let him go. Why why does it hurt to feel this way. Why can't live be like they are in stories.
